Morning shunting

Early and cold start this morning, here 08915 is out the shed and up the top of yard, first task is to pick up the coal wagon from the coal road/loading spur and shunt it out the way onto the crossover

Propelling the coal wagon onto the crossover

Buffered up to the other wagons

Back down the South end of the yard in the headshunt to pick up the flat wagon

The wagon was brought up to the North end of the yard and 08915 was stabled on the end of the loading spur

Bit of a cheap trick, instead of moving the coaching stock from the North headshunt to be able to use the run-round loop, the flat wagon was hooked up to the dumper truck and dragged forward onto the road adjacent to the loading spur. Once stabled, 08915 could reverse out of the loading spur and onto the other end of the flat wagon

Stabled outside the shed for a coffee break

Back to work...dragging the brake van, ACC5 and 401 up the yard

And propelled back down onto the other road, 401 coupled up to the flat wagon and ready for tank lifting
