| Dragged outside, hose put in the tank and the fire lit |

| 401 back in [light] steam after a 2 week turnaround by volunteers which included removal of all boiler fittings, removal of the tank, cab, cladding & lagging. Then having the boiler NDT (non-destructive test) examined and then completely rebuilt. 401 was taken to about 20psi today before the blowdown valve started leaking quite badly, we'll wait for it to cool down then drop the water so we can remove the blowdown and investigate |
