Cleaning 03078

Following work down the line, volunteers Tom and Adam gave 03078 a wash and brush up

New drain cocks for 401

Tom has been working on machining new drain cock valves for 401 as part of its winter maintenance

08915s underkeep pads replacement

08915 has received new underkeep oiling pads this week

The new underkeep pads, supplied by Armstrong Oilers (Grosmont), were left to soak in fresh bearing oil for at least 24hrs

Work on the Conflat

With our Conflat wagon now free of its bogies, volunteers have made a start cleaning up the axles, wheels and journals

Despite it not being the best weather today (as you can see our volunteers resorted to ponchos!) it was brilliant to see full trains again.
