Eccentric rod removal

Last nights work involved the removal of the entire brake rigging, guard irons, sand pipes, steam heat pipes and other various parts

Bearings, pins and retainer caps laid out

Tonight's job involved the removal of the eccentric rods, Michael here is separating the eccentric rod from the eccentric strap

And at the other end, knocking the pin out that holds it in at the top of the expansion link

First one out...forward eccentric rod off the LHS

And later the rest successfully removed and cleaned
