Today, a team of volunteers along with No.08915 has ventured down the line with the works train. A number of jobs were undertaken, limited tree and bramble clearance was undertaken (given the time of year) to improve sightlines and those branches likely to foul passing trains.
The strimmers were out clearing sections of the lineside and the littering picking has now reached just past the milepost! With another 14 bags taken back to base.
A number of sections of fencing were also repaired, to prevent trespass along and across the railway.
