Today we travel to April 1970, Tyne Improvement Commissioners Quay, where we see TIC 30, Ruston Hornsby 412707 of 1957 shunting around the station.
Here between 1931 - 1939 and 1947 - 1967. Provided a connection from London via Newcastle onto the Quay for connection to the ferries bound for Norway. These were provided by the Bergen Line & the Fred Olsen Line.
Further views show the Norseman in operation with boat trains on the Quay and setting back at Percy Main.
