Work in the oil store

Work has taken place in the oil store today, this has involved removing all the oil drums to allow the tray they sit on to be lifted out to replace the packing underneath. In this photo, Richard is unscrewing the bolts that hold down the mesh grilles

After removing the grilles, Michael scrapes out the thick of the waste oil

Lightweight breezeblocks were used to replace the old pallets that were underneath, these raise the whole tray up slightly to allow the engine hoist underneath the tray, and make it more secure when the weight of the barrels is on
