Fabricating a new 5mph sign

This morning volunteers Michael and Steve cut down the old 5mph from the south end of Middle Engine Lane platform to replace it with a new one

After marking the new sign out, Michael begins cutting. First with the angle grinder before switching to oxy acetylene

Michael then starts cleaning up the edges with the angle grinder

Bit more work to do before it goes up, after the last bits have been ground back and cleaned up it will be welded to a new pole and mounted at the south end of Middle Engine Lane platform
