Work on 08915 axleboxes

One of the winter maintenance jobs on our class 08 was to remove the axlebox underkeeps for inspection and cleaning. Which was started back in early October and planned to be carried on before the start of Santa Specials. This photo shows one of the underkeeps in desperate need of a clean. Unfortunately at some point in the past they have been mistakenly filled with grease, the grease nipple and its delivery pipe can be seen to the bottom right of the underkeep box

After all parts had been cleaned up, Steve lathers the underkeep pad in bearing oil before re-fitting. 3 out of the 6 have been removed and cleaned so far, the other 3 to be completed in due course
