A different 49 at Backworth

Today we continue our look at our 30th Anniversary Gala visitor 49, which is visiting courtesy of the Tanfield Railway.

Here we see 49 standing on what is now the site of our Museum at Middle Engine Lane, infront of the remains of the Middle Engine itself. However it isn't all its seems as this is a different 49, Bagnall 2750 of 1944 (transferring from Ashington in 1967) and was scrapped in 1969, for this short period Backworth had two 49's.
