Work on the lathe

First day back in for volunteer Alan. In this photo, the shaper (on the left) has been set away skimming another one of Ashington No.5s horn guides, after it had its new wear plate welded on, to suit the axlebox. After setting it away Alan then worked the lathe to carry on turning new bolts for Ashington No.5s horn guides
