Ashington No.5 is still currently in the workshops waiting for its newly repaired safety valves to be fitted. The valves returned earlier this week and are currently awaiting bench testing and setting. After they are set the safety valves can be re-fitted to the locomotive and it can undergo a steam test, which is now booked for the 21st August. More news to follow soon
