Coal Stage Construction Progress

Michael and Richard have made some more progress with the new coal stage, which is still in early days of development

The first sleepers were placed and positioned correctly, as a test, to give Michael & Richard their bearings and measurements

They also made the decision to use old bits of rail instead of boiler tubes as they're a lot stronger and should last a longer

Just some of the concrete that has been dug up

After a bit of a tidy up the concrete flooring can easily be seen, Richard has tactfully placed rocks to show where holes need to be drilled for old rail to be inserted
