A brilliant aerial view showing the West Chirton Armament Depot, the site West Chirton Industrial Estate before becoming the site of Tesco. You can even see the famous 'tesco' chimney. The other survivor of West Chirton is Hudswell Clarke Millom, built for the works in 1946 and in use there til 1948. When it was moved to another site in Cumbria by its owners the Ministry of Supply.
