Odd jobs on ACC5

A few photos of some odd jobs carried out on Ashington No.5 yesterday, here Katie is cleaning up one of the LHS horn guides...

...all LHS horn guides, nuts & bolts all cleaned up and re-labelled

Successful removal of a very stubborn intermediate valve spindle rod from the RHS, on the other side of the frames, Carl starts to remove the nuts off the valve spindle guide/oil pot that the spindle rod slides in

The view from the other side (front section of the loco) of the spindle guide/oil pot. The intermediate spindle rod (pictured above) slides within this guide and connects the spindle rod, connected to the valves, to the dieblocks
