Today volunteers have began constructing a sleeper wall to create a new storage compound for track materials.

 Once again, Cameron has been busy progressing the overhaul of NCB No.69...

Connecting rod oil plug cleaned and polished.

Leading connecting rods cleaned and bearings cleaned and inspected ready for measuring to then be machined.

Woodland Walk Open to the Public

 

The first phase of the Woodland Walk has now been opened to the public.

Visitors can now walk from the platform down to a new viewing area adjacent to the south headshunt - a good vantage point to watch trains coming and going from Middle Engine Lane.

Freight Train Day

A new cap for the driver's side front side rod has been produced as the original didn't survive removal.

Michael has been busy making a batch of bolts for the brake shaft.
