A.No.5 Cosmetic Work Update

Backhead and firehole doors painted black, handbrake, cylinder drain cocks handle, regulator, reverser, blower valve, both steam injector valves and steam brake valve all stripped of red paint and polished

One side of the reverser stripped of red paint, unfortunately not every single bit of red paint can be taken off as it is a big job to remove the reverser lever, so it has to be done where it stands, making it difficult to get into the enclosed parts of the lever

Cafe Refurbishment Progress

Further progress has been made this morning with the refurbishment of the cafe kitchen by Jean and Rob, including cleaning and painting

The Waggonway Tearoom is planned to be open sometime in October

401 Cosmetic Work

Finally got round to finishing off 401s regulator, Michael is pictured sanding it down to perfection

Dogfish Update

The Dogfish ballast wagon has been shunted outside today after a cosmetic overhaul

There are still a few touch ups to finish which can be completed outside, this has allowed our Brake Van to be shunted inside for a cosmetic overhaul
