The Woodland Walk Project

What is currently scrub land and a storage area on our site is being completely redeveloped into an eco-friendly woodland walk.

Features of the Woodland Walk will include a sensory walk, educational lodge, wildflower meadow, butterfly meadow, butterfly field, art displays, bug hotels and reclaimed railway artefact displays.

The first phase of construction is nearing completion, thanks to the tireless efforts of NTSRA volunteers Jean and Rob.

Sunday Steam and Brake Van Rides

1208 'Illingworth' has been hauling trains again today, seen here running round at Percy Main.

The NTSRA's 20t brake van was added to the carriages, allowing passengers the opportunity to experience the railway from a different perspective.
