Our three diesel locomotives are out and about next Sunday for our last Diesel Day event of 2016! Details of the locomotives below, timetable will be posted tomorrow  


Diesel Mechanical Class 03 No.D2078 - Former pilot locomotive at Newcastle Central
Diesel Electric Class 08 No.08915 - Former shunter at Allerton (AN) Depot. 
Consett Iron Company No.10 - Industrial shunter at Consett Ironworks.

More cosmetic work is slowly progressing on our crane, Davy and Ron have been busy the past weeks sanding down and painting the frames and rear buffer beam.

Sunday Services - 08915

This Sunday (11th) and the following Sunday (18th) see our Diesel Electric Class 08 No.08915 hauling passenger trains, her first day out in traffic after being turned around after the DOWT event! Trains depart Middle Engine Lane at 1130, 1230, 1400 and 1500.
