Running In

Ashington No.5 has been steamed up today to be run in after having a spring change. The locomotive is running passenger services this Sunday (29th) & Bank Holiday Monday (30th). 


Our freight brake van will be added to the train this Bank Holiday Monday, directly behind Ashington No.5, allowing passengers to get an upclose view of the loco hard at work. Passengers can ride in the brake van for a small donation on top of the normal ticket price, all donations go towards the work required on our Bagnall Locomotive, No.401

Further Progress in the C&W Workshop

This evening in the Carriage & Wagon workshop, Tom and Richard have been busy with a needle gun tackling the tool van making further progress with the vans cosmetic overhaul.
