A perfect end, to a perfect season...

With this years Santa Specials over, that brings the 2015 season to an end. 2016 will see 401s boiler returning in early February and the lads in the workshop are eager to get to work putting the locomotive back together.

Behind the scenes photos of the workshop sessions are soon to follow, starting with both Ashington No.5 and A.No.5's annual examinations.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at the North Tyneside Steam Railway!
