More work has been carried out on 401 today following on from Wednesday's work to the firegrate

| Before fully completing the installation of the firegrate we are awaiting contractors coming in next week to weld the support studs inside the firebox |

| 401s smokebox door has also been sent away to Tanfield Spinners for repair work. Next small jobs include fitting all mud-hole doors and washout plugs, crack testing will be carried out following the welding work in the firebox and after this, we can begin lagging the boiler |
