Trains this Sunday plus more

As well as D2078 running trains this Sunday, curator Bob Gwynne from the NRM will be joining us to give a talk on the most famous locomotive in the world...Flying Scotsman! Talks at 12pm and 2pm, tickets on the door are £6.50 or get them in advance here.
Trains depart Middle Engine Lane at 11:30, 12:30, 14:00 and 15:00

ABR - Saturday Timetable

Timetable for the first day of Ale by Rail in September...this timetable is designed to work in connection with the Tyne & Wear Metro services arriving at Percy Main, their timetable can be found here.

Our own Percy Main station is located on Brunton St, and is about a five minute walk from the Metro station. Alternatively, the No.19 (Cobalt South) bus goes from Percy Main to Middle Engine Lane

George has been busy this afternoon preparing 401s boiler for hydraulic testing following some remedial work to the blowdown valve flange
